Sequins have been absolutely everywhere for the last couple of weeks, on everything from sweaters to short shorts.

The Perfect Holiday Nail.

This is an image of one of my friends "christmas" nails. I thought they were so elegant and appropriate, the jeweled snowflake is both on trend ( Glitter!!) and in with the festive season. They're gel nails with a hand-painted snowflake design. So perfect!

Pretty Colours!

I love how organized these shirts are, they can be the perfect example of a colour wheel. Give me any kind of bright colour (or shiny surface :s) and i'm with you.

In the fashion arts building at my College the visual merchandising students have window displays that they're responsible for. Every two weeks they change them according to themes, and the most recent displays were all made out of paper medium.

Trending : The Loafer

The loafer is, by far, my favourite trend of Fall, because i really feel like it's something i can invest in, and still wear a year from now.

Reppin' the Tdot.

I will admit, I have only listened to a few of Drakes new tracks from Take Care, but what I've heard so far, I've loved. This track, Take Care, featuring Rihanna, has been on replay for the last 2 days, and I am not getting sick of it. But you guys need to go and BUY the album, cause Drizzy always reps this city hard, and we need to support that!

Positive Vibes.

 This is a little something my mother always used to tell me. And considering how negative I am -- I prefer to use realistic -- its something I need to remind myself and say over and over again. And surprisingly, I find it works more often than not. It's unbelievable how such a small thing as thinking positively can make such a big difference as to change the outcome of your day.
After reading The Secret, and also just listening to experiences of other people, I've realised just how powerful positive thinking is. It can even be boiled down to science, " The law of attraction says like attracts like, and so as you think a thought, you are also attracting like thoughts to you." So try that out, just for the heck of it.

Brand Focus: Fossil

This past weekend my friend Sewit took me into Fossil for her to try on some watches and I fell absolutely in love with the store. On walking in you could see how much higher end their product has become, as one of the first things you see is their jewelery table with all their gorgeous vintage-ey costume jewellery.

Ever since witnessing Bustle's Spring/Summer 2012 line while volunteering at LG Fashion Week, I have become fairly obsessed with mens' clothing. This season the Bustle line was extremely nautical, but not with the traditional reds, whites and blues.

So as you've noticed I haven't posted since last week (tsk tsk!!), but I literally had no free time since then. Anyways, I come baring images of things that I wasn't supposed to buy..:/ They're supposed to add to my "Fall Wardrobe", but frankly I don't have the discipline or patience to buy seasonally, I'm more of a 'see something cute and grab it kinna girl.'

Versace for H&M

As I'm sure you all know H&M's highly anticipated collaboration with Versace is soon to hit stores, and i can't wait to LOOK at everything. ._. I've been through the lookbook and I'm pretty excited -- alot of the pieces look fantastic, and they are all very Versace.

Vawk - Spring/Summer 2012

I have been absolutely lackadaisical when it comes to posting on this blog, and i know how important consistency is!! I just wanted to share this link really quickly to Vawks' S/S 2012 collection which was shown at LG Fashion Week a few weeks ago.

Blackberry or iPhone?

This is always the question in any cell phone driven conversation. And with the amount of attention paid to the iPhone by social media gurus, designers and the world of fashion, I'd have to agree with what my cousin has been preaching to me for the last year-- the iPhone is the phone of fashion. I won't lie, I am a avid bbm-er, and with my family and most of my friends living outside of Canada it is extraordinarily useful to me. But still i do intend on switching out sooner than later (sorry bbm!), and I am extremely excited for that moment!

So in honour of the iPhone5 (4GS??)  dropping in the next 2 weeks, I've dug up some super cute accessories for them. This Michael Kors patent black and metallic gold leather wristlet retails for $84.95 ($79.95 US), which is actually alot less than I expected--is amazing! You can order it here from the apple site, Canadians!

I did manage to find a leather, monogrammed Louis Vuitton blackberry case, which in itself is super luxe and at $290 is definitely a bit of a splurge.

I also can't tell you how amazing Beyonce's album 4 is. That woman can saaanngg! I have been hitting replay on 'Love on Top' for the last 15 minutes. But i really can't get enough of 1+1.Absolutely amazing, it is just dripping with emotion.

The rise of Fall.

I made my first OFFICIAL Fall purchase this weekend, from Le Chateau Outlet. These amazing (faux) leather and suede boots i feel are either a love or hate, there isn't really any middle ground. I have to admit when i brought them home i kind of hated them a little bit. But all's well that ends well.

I also got this great structured bag from ALDO a few weeks ago, and it will definitely be worked into the Fall wardrobe. I have to say though i was extremely disappointed in the quality of this bag, one of the hinges on the opening broke on its first wearing :(. And Aldo's service definitely leaves you wanting, they continuously mess my orders up. But to no avail, they have amazing stuff.

Power.

I’ve come to think i’m obsessed with love. i feel like everyone is, especially those who try to fight it off. i feel like i shouldn’t want it, that if i don’t want it, it’ll come again. Like, you know that panicked feeling you get when you realise you broke something and you cant fix it in time? Well it’s like that panicked feeling, only thing there may be no chance of it getting fixed, and you cant just order a replacement. Feelings and emotions are fascinating, truly. They entrance and envelop you, luring you into their mesmerizing folds. I feel like that is what power is, and i know, how unbelievably enthralling it can be having control of someones feelings. I also know how absolutely excruciating it can be for someone to have control of your feelings.
