Covet this: Balmain Embroidered Skirt with Mirrors.

I don't know what it is with me and shine now, but I LOVE it. When tribal met the Indian Bazaar, Balmains' embroidered skirt was born. I wont even lie, when I saw it, my jaw dropped; then I saw how much it was and it hit the floor. At a cool $15,100 you could be rocking this too.

Covet this: Balenciaga Royal Blue Tote

I was mindlessly browsing recently and came across this amazing, amazing Balenciaga bag-- that doesn't look very Balenciaga. The shape, shade and even the texture of the leather just scream luxury.

Hey there, Spring, I see you.

The coming of the new season means two extraordinarily important things. There is the stripping away of some of the layers we've accumulated over the wintry months--both literally and figuratively--the lightening of the sky, the colours, the weather, our moods. And then there are the clothes.

A New Dawn A New Day.

Hi everybody, I'm sure you've noticed I've been on a week long hiatus with my blog--  and everything else in my life as well. I just moved into residence at school, which has given me back so much time from my daily commute. So I'm extremely grateful for that. I am currently getting settled in my room, and I must say I have become fairly obsessed with home decoration. I'm yet to complete organization and decoration of my room, but I got a fair way last night, with my room mates help, and at least changed the layout to something I liked.

So as soon as that's done there will most definitely be before and afters of the whole thing. But in the mean time I'd like to show you these amazing stemless wine glasses that I bought this week. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are completely functional, shatter-proof plastic... that's right plastic. Don't judge.

And of course a little bit of home.

So this blog post isn't anything very note worthy, I more or less wanted to tell you what I'm doing regarding my blog now that school and stress is back on. My goal is to consistently make between 2-4 blog posts every week, but not on any specific days. I will still post my updates on facebook and twitter, so look out for those!
I am also very excited to say that I am now a contributing writer for Fashionotes.com. So starting this week you can view my writing here, on http://www.fashionotes.com/content/. I'll also have links to those articles on my blog and social media accounts.

Style Me: Tribal

Over the past seasons,i.e 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 , designers have taken inspiration from the likes of Africa and South & Central America. With this we've seen the introduction of large abstract prints, bold accessories, and bright, beautiful colour. From the runways of New York to Paris and designers like Louis Vuitton in 2009 to L.A.M.B in 2011.

Good-bye Guyana... :(

Hi everyone! I'm so sad to say I've left Guyana, Christmas is over, and its back to the cold for me :( It's very hard for me to swallow the fact that its January of 2012 (!!!), and that vacation time has come and gone. I just wanted to share a few photos of my beautiful country and of course, an outfit of the day. Hope you like!

Emerald City

To me, emerald has been everywhere for the past couple weeks. I am extremely happy about this fact as it happens to be my absolute favourite colour. I saw alot of cute pieces at H&M and Forever 21, as well as TopShop and ZARA.

All that glitters.

Hi, all! I made a glorious attempt at wearing sequins recently, and wanted to share it with you. I bought these copper shorts at Forever 21 two weeks ago.

To The New Year.

As we come upon the final hours of the old year, it is always necessary to reminisce on the days that have past and be grateful for EVERYTHING you’ve both gained and lost. It is so easy to get caught up with things that have no value and even easier to convince yourself they matter.
