Running for a cause.

This is the last hour of Breast Cancer Awareness month...Octoooober.. gosh where did that month go?! Anyway, at the very beginning of the month I Ran for the Cure at University of Toronto's St. George Campus.Annddd I made my 5K in 0:33:57 which was a full 2 minutes shorter than the 5K I ran for the Terry Fox run two weeks prior--2 minutes or 2 seconds its an improvement!

The experience of running for breast cancer was a great one, I pledged to raise $300, and raised $315 which to me is fantastic--I was trying to figure out how I was going to get $300 in the first place. But I did it, and next year I'm going big, get a team and everything. I really didn't realise how HUGE it was--I think there was something like 20,000 people participating, which is just insane.

So next July contact me, we're gonna go big, train hard and then paint our naked selves pink and streak through the streets of Toronto! I'm just kidding...kind of.

I think it's always good to have a cause that you work for or donate your time to, whether there's a personal link to it or not, it's good to give back.

Open to Buy

Hello, again!

Just to clarify I didn't just happen to plop the words Open to Buy down to make a catchy post header. In a buying plan, it is in short, the process of charging off committed orders against the buying limits of the planned purchases so you can determine what additional merchandise can be bought for a store. Which is basically knowing what you already bought, what money you have left over, and what you can now purchase.

An owed apology.

Hi everyone,

I come to you with my head hanging and tail between my legs. I have to say to those people who actually check my blog everyday for a new post that never seem to be there-- I  am so sorry.
