I am an absolute sucker for colour and I go a little crazy for print as will be seen in my upcoming digital print post.
These next few photos are from designers' Resort 2013 collection's (i.e, Pre-Spring/Summer 2013). Isn't it just crazy how these people are an entire six months ahead of us at any given moment?
A lot of these are inspirational for me. I just LOVE looking at collections and seeing what such creative minds can come up with each and every season. And in much the same way I try to figure out how I can creatively get my hands on pieces that look like them. But don't worry, where there's a will there's a way--so you should be seeing something along these lines on here, soon enough.

Balmain
They are so many things intrinsically right about Balmain. The defined shoulders, perfectly pulled in pant, i.e. a skinny trouser to die for. And of course you can never go wrong with a too short mini dress embellished to perfection.
Peter Pilotto
Colour me crazy in love with this collection. There are not words to describe the colour, cut, fabrication, workmanship and embellishment that these pieces amount to.
Tibi
Oh Tibi. My infatuation with this line began only last summer when I modeled one of their dresses for a Rent frock Repeat photoshoot, and since that day I have never looked back. This Resort collection brings together beautiful, blatant colour, with abstract print and minimal shapes. Matches made in heaven.
Prabal Gurung
I love how Gurung transcends trend and brings the peplum into 2013. I love it shown with the trouser just as much as I love it with the pencil skirt. His short pant suit just has me longing for the days when I'll need one. I'm actually convincing myself as I type this that I desperately need it to survive.
Jason Wu
I think the one thing that caught my attention most was the studded neckline of the tops and dresses--the neck clasping halter that flagrantly highlights the shoulders. The jewel necklines and soft lace, also had a more slight effect.
